A unique diamond single stone pendant

This amazing diamond pendant has been created around a brilliant cut diamond of 2.19 carats, L colour, VS2 clarity. This diamond has a remarkably attractive, almost bimetallic lustre, like the twin gleams of brass against polished steel on a suit of Damascene armour.

The diamond nestles in the embrace of an undulating entwined basket weave frame of platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, with wonderful hand engraved decoration. The balance of the platinum and gold is in perfect harmony with the lustre of the diamond.

The chain with barley twist 18 carat yellow gold links and 18 carat white gold cross links, mirrors beautifully the undulating basket weave of the pendant.
