A Unique Baroque Tahitian Keshi Pearl Necklet

Tahitian Keshi pearls are fascinating; they are formed within a cultured mollusc but not by any human intervention, so they are nearly always solid nacre, which gives them an incredible depth of lustre.

These 83 natural colour baroque Keshi are like irregular droplets of blackened, burnished steel, with a marvellous deep glowing sheen.

The necklet graduates from 7mm to 11mm, 16" length, and culminates in a wonderful clasp of Nigel’s design, with 139 brilliant cut diamonds, 1.29 carat total weight, all G colour, VS clarity, pave set in an 18 carat white gold baroque nugget of matching irregularity of form. 

It is such an intriguing necklet when worn, as the reflections from the undulating form of these remarkable pearls are constantly changing  as the wearer moves, captivating the eye.
