A unique & extraordinary art deco inspired diamond cluster ring
The design of this remarkable ring was influenced by elements of 1930’s architecture. It is wonderfully bold in its simplicity, but also displays tremendous finesse.
One might imagine the great architect Sir Edwin Lutyens looking down from Heaven viewing the ring with a wry smile, and a twinkle in the eye, giving a nod of approval to the forthrightness of form balanced with the delicacy of the orbs, seeing the inspiration drawn from his own work.
The central 1.00 carat ascher cut diamond is G colour, VVS clarity, and has four further accompanying Ascher cut diamonds to make the cruciform, they weigh a total of 1.66 carats, and are also G colour, IF/ VVS clarity.
The cruciform is interspaced with four incredible diamond set orbs. These contain 128 brilliant cut diamonds in an amazing example of the skill and artistry of precision setting. The total weight of the diamonds contained in these orbs is 0.50 carats. The effect of the contrast between the reflectivity and electrifying flash of the ascher cut diamonds and the scintillating sparkle of the brilliants in the orbs is magically mesmerising.
The ring mount, a piece of miniature architectural engineering, is made in all platinum.
As Sir Edwin might have said ‘Elegance exemplified’.
