The impossible snowflake. A diamond pendant
Inspired by the patterns in snowflakes and the juxtaposition of square and round, this pendant is a delightful combination of the intense sparkle of brilliant cut diamonds, and the reflective flash of carré cut diamonds, all wonderfully millegrain set in 18 carat yellow gold.
The quatrefoil form could not exist as a snowflake, but it is just such a fabulous shape for a diamond pendant, especially in a V neckline, we could not let it be discarded from the drawing board, and it has since become a Cousins long standing treasured design.
There are four carré cut diamonds 0.07 carats total, all E colour VS clarity, and twelve brilliant cut diamonds 0.21 carats total, also all E colour, VS clarity.
The chain is 16” long 18 carat yellow gold.
